Andrew (our President & CEO) and Christine (VP Administration) are now Canadian Citizens!
Yesterday, at Pier 21 in Halifax, Andrew and Christine, along with 71 others from 20 different countries, took the citizenship oath and became Canada’s newest citizens.
Andrew & Christine, and their 2 sons, came to Canada in 2007. They brought with them their existing business, and in 2016 they launched Nova Solar Capital (now called SKYLIT). Their vast knowledge and bold vision has resulted in the creation of the premiere solar PV company in Nova Scotia, creating 7 full-time, year-round jobs and 8 full-time seasonal jobs, spurring excellent economic growth in the Annapolis Valley in an important industry that is taking the climate emergency seriously and tackling the challenge of change head on.
We are so lucky that they have chosen Canada as their new home, and are thrilled that they’ve now become Canadian citizens. Congratulations Andrew & Christine!
